Gender Reveal Day

I planned super low key for Kennedy’s first birthday.

I wanted his second to be full of fun friends, great food and lots of laughs! It just so happened that we had our gender ultrasound a few weeks prior and I really wanted to have a gender reveal this time around. Merging the two were so much fun!

My adorable friend and rockstar business owner Rebekah helped me plan and design this fun party! A few of the fun details:

  • Route 66 photo booth
  • Racetrack in the yard with motorized cars
  • A craft where the kiddos made license plates with their name on them
  • Take home gifts – succulents for the adults and car trophy’s for the kids
  • Food – we kept it simple with barbecue platters and yummy snacks for the kids, including stop light cake pops!

For the gender reveal, we let our son Kennedy open a box of balloons! They are BLUE!!! That’s right, we are expecting baby boy #2 in March! At the bottom of the balloons were an attached Car he could immediately play with and he was so excited.
