How You Can Make 2019 One of the BEST Years of Your Life… No Matter What’s Going On In It!
What if I told you that you could have one of the best years of your life, making more money and creating the life of your dreams, without sacrificing family time? That you could actually have more freedom, more time for the things that matter most to YOU?! Crazy? Nope. Been there, done that, got that t-shirt y’all! My team and I had a record breaking business year in 2018 with over $4.5 million in sales, adding 4,500 new brand reps, and nearly 18,000 new customers!
It can be too easy to forget the successes had and brush them aside too quickly to make room for ‘WHAT’S NEXT’. As we head into the end of February and are looking to crush 2019, I wanted to share how I was personally able to have one of the best years of my life last year while balancing all the things as mom, wife, and entrepreneur! You may think you can’t have this, can’t do this, but I’m here to tell you that if I can do this, and seeing what my team is doing and being inspired by them that You Can Have This Too!
So here are some of my top moments from 2018, which could’ve been disastrous for my business and how they became the best things that could’ve happened to it and help me focus every single day!
1. Babies and Business
Two words that don’t seem to go together AT ALL. And PS- he’s baby #2! Miles is a chill baby, but also strong, resilient and very determined, which I like to think I became more like him during pregnancy! Babies and kiddos have a way of prioritizing life for you. My biggest lesson learned was to be present when you are present. With your babies, with your work. Block the time and know that there will never be a perfect time to do everything!
Okay, there’s so much more I can say on running my B & B 😊 household so look for more on this coming at ya soon!
2. Find your biggest supporter
Finding support as an entrepreneur can be hard and test couples no matter how long they’ve been together. After 4 years as a couple, 2 babies, an epic wedding and now reaching another milestone on our 1st anniversary last year, I appreciate everything we’ve gone through to get where we are. My best advice would be to find YOUR biggest supporter, whether it’s your husband, a team member or another family member. Communicate the type of support you need from them and ask them what they may need from you to reach their goals as well. Focus on the people who really see what you’re doing and helping to bring you up, not the nay-sayers and the ones trying to bring you down.
3. Don’t forget the fun, y’all!
I live for trips and a big part of why I love what I do is that it gives me the freedom to travel! Last year, that was Georgia, NYC, Virginia and North Carolina. Fill up on what makes you happiest and you will be more successful for it! Who needs convincing to have fun?!
4. Take all the help you can get!
